The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in building scalable software systems, particularly in ML/MLOps environments. This includes designing and maintaining sophisticated labelling and data systems using Python, SQL, Kubernetes, Argo, and GitLab.

  • Develop and optimise backend services, APIs, and databases that support ML data workflows
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to create seamless workflows across diverse applications
  • Mentor junior engineers while promoting collaboration and operational excellence
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience building production-grade software systems
  • Strong Python skills and deep understanding of distributed systems on Linux
  • Proven track record with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and production optimisation
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
