Leadership Opportunity in Early Childhood Education

We are seeking a passionate and experienced leader to join our team as Senior Early Childhood Services Leader. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of early childhood education and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children, families, and educators.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar leadership role within early childhood education or childcare services, with strong financial skills, including cost accountability and reporting. They will also have a working knowledge of government funding and requirements, and demonstrated experience managing culturally diverse teams.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Designing and delivering high-quality early childhood services that value families and educators while meeting regulatory standards;
  • Supporting and guiding the team to execute values and objectives;
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures in compliance with regulations and standards;
  • Overseeing service presentation standards and ensuring consistency across all centres in the region;
  • Managing the performance of each centre, ensuring efficient rostering and recruitment aligned with business goals;
  • Ensuring all eligible centre funding is received, including subsidies and support programs;
  • Providing regular performance reports;
  • Championing safety framework to maximise the wellbeing of children and staff;
  • Proactively identifying, reporting, and mitigating risks and potential issues;
  • Fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture, inspiring a diverse team to achieve shared goals;
  • Mentoring and supporting staff through professional development and engagement initiatives;
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance reputation and culture.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience in a similar leadership role within early childhood education or childcare services; Strong financial skills, including cost accountability and reporting; Working knowledge of government funding and requirements; Demonstrated experience managing culturally diverse teams; Tertiary qualification in Children's Services, Education, or equivalent.
