Job Summary

Strategic Procurement and Property Lead is a senior leadership role driving continuous improvements in procurement and strategic management of property portfolios.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in procurement, contract management and property services, ideally within a public sector context.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the centre-led procurement team to deliver value and impact through continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all procurement activity is strategically aligned, compliant with legislative requirements and delivers best-practice outcomes.
  • Manage the decentralised property team to optimise performance and achieve financial return and community benefit.
Qualifications and Attributes
  • Proven leader with strong financial and commercial acumen, track record of leading change programs.
  • Ability to think strategically and navigate complex environments to develop innovative solutions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with emotional intelligence and political acumen to operate across diverse stakeholders.
  • Tertiary qualification in business, law, finance or related discipline; postgraduate qualifications in leadership or project management are highly regarded.
