Property Acquisition Role Overview

This is a hands-on senior-level position that involves personally overseeing the full property procurement process, from asset sourcing through to builder/developer management and deal execution.

About the Job
  • Personally develop and maintain a strategic new property acquisition plan across your market
  • Maintain a live "asset intelligence map" to proactively manage future pipeline
  • Directly manage all builder/developer relationships - no support team required
  • Attend project briefings, negotiate terms, and replenish active stock allocations
  • Track and report EOI-to-settlement progress per deal
  • Personally resolve issues like settlement delays, valuation discrepancies, or stock documentation gaps
  • Load and maintain 100% accurate data in our internal asset portal
  • Deliver fast, clear responses to Asset Strategists with zero bottlenecks or dependencies
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic new property acquisition strategy
  • Manage all aspects of property procurement, including asset sourcing and deal execution
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with builders and developers
  • Negotiate terms and agreements for property acquisitions
  • Resolve any issues that may arise during the procurement process
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all property acquisitions
Requirements
  • Proven experience in property procurement or a related field
  • Strong understanding of property markets and trends
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
