About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Resource Planning Lead to join our team at WSP Global Inc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing global resource planning, ensuring effective resource allocation and capacity planning, and supporting HUB PMO Directors and Project Managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resource Management: Ensure optimal project deliverables by allocating resources based on skillsets, previous experience, and availability.
  • Ownership of resource planning tools, design, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Monitoring day-to-day project activities, workloads, and corresponding resourcing.
  • Manage resource conflicts and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of current and upcoming projects and business development activities.
Metrics and Reporting

The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting set KPIs, including resource utilization, tracking planning forecast compared to actuals, and providing insights for business process improvement.

Stakeholder Management

The Resource Planning Lead will collaborate and support the Portfolio Manager, HUB IT PMO Directors, and key stakeholders to manage project resourcing needs and priorities.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in human resource management, information technology, business, management, or a similar field, and 5+ years' experience in PMO or program/project management on resourcing projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with geographically dispersed resources, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

A relevant program/project management qualification, such as PRINCE Practitioner or PMP, is preferred.
