About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Resource Planner to join our IT PMO team at WSP Global Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing global resource planning, ensuring effective resource allocation and capacity planning, and supporting HUB PMO Directors and Project Managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resource Management: Develop and implement resource allocation strategies to optimize project deliverables, ensuring that resources are utilized efficiently and effectively.
  • Resource Planning: Design, implement, and maintain resource planning tools to support project planning and execution.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor day-to-day project activities, workloads, and corresponding resourcing, and provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Portfolio Manager, HUB IT PMO Directors, and key stakeholders to manage project resourcing needs and priorities.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in human resource management, information technology, business, management, or a similar field.
  • Experience: 5+ years' experience in PMO or program/project management on resourcing projects, with experience working with geographically dispersed resources.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
