Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead our land & planning activities and obtain all relevant approvals for large-scale dispatchable assets under development. This role requires a strong understanding of the Australian energy sector, including grid connection processes and market rules.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the identification of new power development opportunities, including greenfield sites
  • Progressing renewable and firming energy sites from greenfield to financial close
  • Liaising with stakeholders and obtaining necessary permits and approvals
  • Managing project teams and contracts
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience within the Australian energy sector
  • Excellent knowledge of grid connection processes and market rules
  • Proven experience as a project developer, including site selection, environmental assessment, and permitting
  • Degree in engineering, finance, environmental planning, or a relevant equivalent
Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annumBenefits
