About the Role:

This is a senior-level position within the payroll function of a state government-owned authority. The successful candidate will lead the payroll team, ensuring timely and accurate payment of employees in accordance with legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the payroll function, including processing, reporting, and compliance.
  • Lead a team of payroll professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement payroll projects, such as the transition to SAP Success Factors.
  • Ensure adherence to legislative requirements and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in end-to-end payroll processing, preferably within the Victorian Public Sector.
  • Experience in working on system transitions, ideally with SAP Success Factors.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
