MAYDAY Recruitment Group is partnering with a reputable Not-for-profit organisation to fill a temporary Payroll Officer position. This exciting opportunity is available for a 2-month assignment with the possibility of extension.
The successful candidate will work full-time hours and enjoy a hybrid working model, with 3 days of remote work and 2 days in the office. The pay rate for this role is $45 per hour + Super.
As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end fortnightly payroll of 300 staff across Australia and New Zealand. The organisation has recently implemented a new HRIS/Payroll system called Dayforce, and experience working with this system is highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities:- Process end-to-end fortnightly pays
- Process and check new and updated payroll information
- Maintain employee details
- Prepare month-end reports
- Stay up to date with award and legislation changes
- Answer payroll-related queries
To succeed in this role, you will have proven experience working in a senior payroll position, with the ability to process 300 staff pays fortnightly. You must be able to demonstrate high organisational and time management skills, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential, as you will be working with various stakeholders within the business.
