Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team at Appreciatingtalent on a 12-month contract basis. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for processing fortnightly and monthly payroll for approximately 1000 employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage end-to-end payroll for a large employee base, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, providing clear and concise information.
  • Prepare and submit monthly and annual payroll tax payments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Oversee End of Year processing and reconciliation tasks, including the timely submission of Single Touch Payroll.
  • Prepare and submit Annual and Monthly PAYG, Payroll tax, Workcover reconciliations, and payments to the relevant states.
  • Efficiently handle superannuation calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Process termination and redundancy calculations, providing clear and concise information to employees.
  • Run reports and send them to relevant stakeholders, providing insights into payroll data.
  • Address and resolve data inconsistencies, managing employee detail changes.

About the Role: This is an excellent opportunity to join a business undergoing a phase of growth and transformation. As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a team while managing your own end-to-end payroll. You will need to be available to start within a short period and commit to this role for 12 months.
