Retail Operations Director

We are seeking a seasoned Retail Operations Director to spearhead our retail and hospitality business.

About the Role:

  • This role involves planning, directing, and evaluating the operations of the retail and hospitality business.
  • You will lead, supervise, and train staff to achieve performance and service targets.
  • Manage inventory, stock levels, purchasing, and supplier relationships effectively.
  • Oversee local weekend and public holiday food market stalls operations.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety, and company policies.
  • Handle customer service, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Prioritize tasks efficiently, manage recruitment, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Analyse sales performance, budgets, and profitability to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales of semi-cooked pastry and dumpling products.
  • Collaborate with our chef/director to expand takeaway pastry and dumpling product lines.
  • Contribute to business planning and develop future franchise opportunities in the hospitality sector.

This is a hands-on leadership position that requires strong operational skills, business acumen, and excellent people management abilities.
