Retail Operations Manager

We seek a dynamic professional to lead the management of our retail business. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and overseeing day-to-day operations.
Main Responsibilities:- Dive into detailed operational planning, directing and evaluating business performance.
- Mentor and guide your team to reach targets through effective leadership and coaching.
- Take charge of inventory management, supplier relationships and purchasing strategies.
- Ensure efficient delivery of weekend and public holiday food market stalls.
- Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage customer feedback, complaints and service requests professionally.
- Create staff rosters, oversee recruitment and conduct performance reviews.
- Monitor and analyse sales data, budgets and profitability.
- Develop marketing activities to boost sales of semi-cooked pastry and dumpling products.
- Collaborate with our chef/director to enhance takeaway pastry and dumpling product lines.
- A minimum of 1 year's experience in a management position within the retail or hospitality industry.
- A degree in hospitality, business or management from a reputable institution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership abilities and team management experience.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, staffing and inventory control.
- High attention to detail.
