Land Development Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Land Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Land Development and Planning and Design group, you will collaborate with a diverse team across various disciplines to deliver innovative projects.

About the Position:

  • You will develop engineering plans and specifications in a team environment for a multitude of projects.
  • Complete Due Diligence Reports and preliminary cost estimates for various sites and project types.
  • Complete work within budget and prior to deadlines.
  • Lead the development of preliminary layouts, design concepts, and detailed design drawings, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards and codes.
  • Utilize, instruct, and delegate application usage for generating project-specific drawings, reports, or other technical deliverables
  • Manage quality control procedures and recommend QC process enhancements
  • Train and mentor junior staff on technical aspects and policies

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of increasing engineering experience on complex projects.
  • Professional Engineer licensure expected or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Office, Excel, and hydrology and hydraulic modeling software.
  • Experience in developing and compiling site plans, construction documents, specifications, and engineering reports.
