Land Development Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our innovative Land Development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing engineering plans and specifications, conducting due diligence reports, and managing quality control procedures.

  • Key Responsibilities:\
  • Develop engineering plans and specifications in a collaborative environment\
  • Conduct due diligence reports and preliminary cost estimates for various sites and project types\
  • Manage quality control procedures and recommend enhancements\
  • Train and mentor junior staff on technical aspects and policies\
  • Instruct and delegate application usage for generating project-specific drawings, reports, or other technical deliverables\
  • Lead the development of preliminary layouts, design concepts, and detailed design drawings, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards and codes\

    • Skills and Attributes:\
    • Possess willingness to learn implementation of integrated services projects in a team with multidisciplinary skills\
    • Have knowledge of land development construction including codes and development regulations\
    • Have experience with client and review agency interactions\
    • Exhibit strong leadership skills and growth potential\
    • Utilize innovative design skills to develop solutions to complex projects\
    • Exhibit excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills\
    • Qualifications:\
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field\
    • Minimum 5 years of increasing engineering experience on complex projects\
    • Professional Engineer licensure expected or ability to obtain within 6 months\
    • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Office, Excel\
    • Proficient with hydrology and hydraulic modeling software such as HydroCad, PondPack, StormCAD, and/or Sanitary & Sewer Analysis\
    • Proficient in site layout, grading, utility design, and stormwater management\
    • Experience in developing and compiling/producing site plans, construction documents, specifications, and engineering reports\
