Civil Designer - Single Family Residential Development

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Design Engineers, Clients, and other project consultants to achieve project goals.
  • Create residential master plans for single-family attached and detached developments.
  • Prepare permit applications and construction documents for master-planned communities.
  • Prepare engineering calculations and coordinate with municipal review staff to gain permit approvals.
  • Participate in project design/client meetings and charette sessions to ensure seamless communication.
  • Collaborate with landscape architecture staff on community amenity designs.
  • Oversee construction administration activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in land development (single-family residential).
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D software.
  • Strong client service orientation and team player mentality.
