Talent Acquisition Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. This role involves handling the full recruitment life cycle, engaging with applicants through phone interviews, and maintaining accurate records in HR systems.

This position requires a team-oriented individual who is open-minded, willing to learn, and has excellent verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal abilities that allow rapport to be established with applicants are key.

The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, high data entry accuracy, excellent organizational and time management skills, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist responsibilities include:

  • Traveling off-site to attract qualified candidates by posting flyers, networking through the community, and attending job fairs
  • Supporting advertising initiatives, employee referral campaigns, and hiring events
  • Conducting phone screenings and coordinating candidate interviews
  • Maintaining accurate records in HR systems and contributing to process improvements

A key aspect of this role is the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including applicants, hiring managers, and other team members.

In addition to the above-mentioned responsibilities, the successful candidate will also have opportunities to contribute to process improvements and develop their skills in talent acquisition.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, able to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
