About the Role

We are seeking a diligent Stock Assistant to join our Distribution team in Summer Hill. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring DC activities are carried out effectively and efficiently.

Job Description

This is a Full-Time opportunity located in our support Office – Summer Hill, Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with putting away stock when needed
  • General housekeeping duties as required
  • Daily picking of stock
  • Other ad-hoc duties as per instructed and required by management across all DC areas
Key Responsibilities

The Stock Assistant will also be responsible for:

  • Processing closedown store stock
  • Marking off returned stock and communicating any variances to Supervisors
  • Assessing stock for write-off or re-ticketing
  • Re-ticketing and cleaning stock to be returned to the warehouse
  • Allocating inactive stock when required
  • Transferring allocated stock
Accountabilities for Damaged Goods

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Processing faulty/damaged goods for all divisions
  • Assessing stock to make decisions on write-off or return to supplier
  • Processing relevant stock back to supplier for credit or replacement
  • Ensuring stock and paperwork is given to Shipping Department for return to supplier
  • Debagging and de-ticketing of stock to be sent for refining
  • Processing returned stock from supplier
Accountabilities for Watch Repair

The Stock Assistant will also be responsible for:

  • Processing watch repairs to allocated suppliers
  • Receiving and dispatching repaired watches back to stores
  • Resolving all repair queries from stores
  • Liaising with stores and suppliers in relation to all watch repair queries
Accountabilities for Watch Department

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Receiving and recording stock deliveries for all divisions
  • Matching stock to costings
  • Liaising with Buyers in relation to follow-up costings
  • Putting away and refilling stock
  • Ensuring costings are given to accounts department for processing
  • Ensuring overseas costings are released
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Basic to intermediate computer skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with focus on accuracy
  • Proven ability to work well both in a team and individually
  • Proven ability to plan, organise, implement actions, and achieve effective outcomes
  • Problem Solving skills
  • Dependability and adaptability
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary ranging between $60,000 to $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with opportunities for career growth and development within the company.
