About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Concrete Batcher at our Concrete Plant in Orange, NSW.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the operation of a concrete batch plant, ensuring efficient and safe production processes.
  • Operate a front-end loader (FEL) and interact with customers, taking orders and scheduling deliveries.
  • Work collaboratively with a high-performing team to deliver positive outcomes for Hanson and our customers.
  • Monitor plant and equipment, scheduling and conducting maintenance as required.
  • Manage maintenance and production tasks, including manual handling.
  • Deliver concrete to customers, requiring a HR licence.
Requirements
  • Loader ticket and experience preferred, but we can train the right person.
  • HR licence preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to work without supervision and have a strong work ethic.
  • Effective communication skills and a team mentality.
  • Flexibility to work a Saturday roster and reasonable overtime.
  • Ability to operate with and support our Zero Harm safety policy.
  • Physical ability to perform all tasks associated with the position.
