We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Steadfast Group Ltd. as a key member of our procurement function. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving efficiency, cost savings, and value for our organization through the development and management of strategic procurement initiatives and practices.
The Procurement Manager will work closely with the Head of Procurement to build and manage an effective group-wide procurement strategy that encompasses managing existing supplier relationships, tendering for new suppliers, negotiating contracts, and monitoring overall procurement processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to transition from strategic vision to practical execution. The successful candidate will be a strong negotiator with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage with stakeholders and build trust at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and Improve Contract Management Procedures: Develop and implement effective contract management processes to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Lead Complex Sourcing Initiatives: Manage end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including market analysis, tendering, and contract negotiation.
- Conduct Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to gain insights into categories and develop strategies to drive cost savings and efficiency.
- Implement Commercial or Supplier Arrangements: Play a significant role in facilitating the transition and implementation of new commercial or supplier arrangements as necessary.
- Collaborate with Procurement Team: Work closely with the procurement team to synchronize all procurement initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Integrate Ethical Labour Practices and Sustainability Commitments: Ensure that all requirements related to ethical labour practices and environmental, social, and governance commitments are integrated into procurement processes.
- Strong Negotiation and Contract Management Skills: Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations and ability to drive cost savings and efficiency.
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Ability to engage with stakeholders and build trust at all levels.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial concepts and ability to analyze data to inform procurement decisions.
- Knowledge of Relevant Laws and Regulations: Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing procurement practices.
