Job Title: Director Of Community Mental Health And Partnerships

Job Description:

The role involves leading and managing staff, overseeing community mental health services for young people, children, adults, and older people. This includes working with specialist teams such as Aboriginal Mental Health Teams, bilingual mental health workers, and Peer Support Workers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides strategic and operational leadership across community mental health services
  • Ensures high quality, efficient, and effective community mental health services
  • Leads and manages staff to achieve service outcomes
  • Works effectively at senior management levels to deliver and improve service outcomes
  • Manages change, risk, and community work health and safety issues
  • Implements quality services within defined resources
  • Demonstrated knowledge of complex health systems and contemporary issues across government and non-government sectors
  • Familiarity with the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy
  • Commitment to implementing Child Safe Standards

Required Skills and Qualifications:

This position requires extensive senior management experience, including leading staff and managing services. Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in mental health are also essential.
