Mental health services have experienced significant growth and expansion across adult psychiatric units, older persons unit, early parenting unit, TMS, ECT, and day program offerings. This leadership position provides advanced clinical stewardship and operational oversight for mental health inpatient, outpatient, and day program services.
About Our Mental Health Services:
Our organization has provided mental health services to the community since 1979. Recent refurbishments have expanded our services, improving access to care for more people.
We welcome passionate professionals to enhance our wards with up to 60 inpatient beds and dedicated facilities for older persons.
About the Leadership Role:
This newly created position reports to the Director of Nursing, managing and leading mental health teams with direct reports, including unit managers and coordinators. The role provides guidance to enhance service delivery, meeting consumer, specialist, and community needs.
The successful candidate will lead and provide evidence-based, person-centered care, advocating for patients, families, and carers to participate in goal setting and discharge planning.
This role focuses on improving patient experience while driving growth objectives to continue delivering exceptional care and access to mental health services.
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent healthcare stream
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Compliance requirements: Working with Children check, police check, serology, immunisation, workplace health and safety questionnaire
