Job Role: Care Admissions Coordinator

This role is focused on maintaining occupancy levels by supporting residents and families in understanding financial processes and admission requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with internal teams to fill aged care beds, orientating new residents and their families to the facility's routines and expectations, escalating and resolving concerns in a timely manner, and ensuring accurate records are kept of admission paperwork and financial documents while maintaining confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Escalate and resolve concerns in a timely manner
  • Liaise with families regarding room emptying on discharge and refurbishments
  • Maintain accurate records of admission paperwork and financial documents while upholding confidentiality
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in the aged care sector
  • Knowledge of the AN-ACC funding model
  • Familiarity with the My Aged Care portal for admissions and resident management
  • Calmness and responsiveness under pressure
  • Self-management and prioritization skills
