Generalist HR Consultant Role

The role of Generalist HR Consultant has been developed to provide comprehensive support to the business.

This position will enable you to develop and expand your skills across the entire HR remit, with a blend of operations and projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely advice and consultancy to managers and employees on workforce planning, job design, recruitment, and on-boarding.
  • Support managers and employees in interpreting and adhering to relevant industrial instruments.
  • Coach managers through employment relations issues, providing guidance and building capability.
  • Partner with the business to identify issues, capability gaps, and upcoming HR needs.
  • Develop a dashboard-like approach to reporting on HR data.
  • Lead HR Projects including revamping the on-boarding program, diversity initiatives, and streamlining the HRIS (SuccessFactors).

To be successful in this role, you will require experience as an Advisor or Business Partner with strong generalist knowledge, ability to manage complexity, tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field, excellent stakeholder relationship skills, and exposure to Employment Agreements is beneficial.
