
HR Generalist Specialist

This role is pivotal in providing first-level support to employees and managers with generalist queries related to payroll policies and procedures, thereby ensuring a seamless employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 1st level support for employees and managers with all generalist queries relating to payroll policies and procedures.
- Ensure all new hires are successfully onboarded prior to planned commencement, thus minimizing any disruptions to business operations.
- Maintain a central point of knowledge excellence relating to all payroll/HR systems, facilitating informed decision-making across the organization.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee files, registers, and databases, including forms and templates, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist with monthly reporting and audit control, providing insights into payroll trends and areas for improvement.
- Tertiary qualifications in a HR related discipline (preferably but not essentially), coupled with relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated expertise within a large and complex environment, showcasing ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Experience with Payroll and time & attendance system, as well as Awards and Agreements.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of tasks and projects.
- Intermediate Excel skills, allowing for efficient data analysis and presentation.
- Ability to work under limited supervision in a high-transactional environment, demonstrating self-motivation and autonomy.
- Strong people, communication, and planning skills, enabling effective collaboration and stakeholder management.
