Job Description

We are seeking an experienced proposals professional to join our high-performing pre-contracts team based in Melbourne. Reporting to the Proposals Lead, you will support the wider bid team by creating and editing content that communicates BMD's proven capability.

  • Produce high-quality, fully compliant tender documentation;
  • Work to a high standard, ensuring all content showcases BMD's strengths;
  • Develop frameworks and schedules for the bid team, and coordinate actions to meet deadlines;
  • Collaborate with colleagues at all levels across our workforce;
  • Act as a central point of contact for key stakeholders, working closely with the Bid Lead;
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant information and share your knowledge with the team.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Strong organisational skills;
  • Experience supporting small teams on expressions of interest and tenders;
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to create compelling content;
  • Able to build positive relationships within the team;
  • Approximately 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in civil construction or a related industry.

Bonus points if you hold a tertiary qualification in communications, marketing, business, or a related field.
