About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly energetic and organized individual to join CPB Contractors Pty Limited as a Bid Manager. As part of the Victorian and Tasmanian business unit Pre-Contracts team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing positioning and winning strategies, as well as driving and coordinating the bid team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to and communicate the agreed strategic direction for winning work
  • Assist with the identification and selection of partners, specialists, and subcontractors
  • Implement tender execution plans to ensure resources are used effectively and efficiently
  • Drive, challenge, and support the bid team to deliver high-quality proposals
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance requirements

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a project management, commercial, or engineering environment
  • Ability to manage teams in delivery of defined outcomes under time and cost constraints
  • Experience in a previous work-winning function would be viewed favorably, particularly showing an understanding of the various inputs required to develop high-quality proposals
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Organized with ability to quickly adapt and manage change
  • Analytical and strategic thinking
