Job Summary
This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key member of our logistics team. As our new Warehouse and Cleaning Operative, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our depot.
About the Role
As a Warehouse and Cleaning Operative, your primary responsibilities will include maintaining and enhancing the success of your depot by undertaking all tasks to the highest standards.
You will be responsible for loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, decontaminating and cleaning medical devices and equipment, and using barcode system scanners to ensure accurate inventory management.
You will also pick and quality assure daily delivery workloads, deliver exceptional service with empathy and care, and work well independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles in a safe and compliant manner.
- Decontamination and cleaning of medical devices and equipment.
- Ensuring 'goods in and out' are accounted for using barcode system scanners.
- Pick and quality assure that day's delivery workload.
- Delivering service with empathy and care.
- Working well independently and as part of a team.
- Carrying out PAT testing and LOLER checking.
- Sometimes required to carry out general repair tasks within your depot.
Requirements
- Ideal experience in a warehouse and/or cleaning operative role is desirable.
- Be flexible with working days/hours to suit business needs.
- Participate in an emergency on-call rota.
