Logistics Modernization Expert

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Support Specialist to lead and personally undertake logistics support activities for a critical national defence infrastructure project upgrading Australia's military air traffic control systems across multiple RAAF bases.
The ideal candidate will have a university degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics, and at least 8 years of relevant logistics engineering experience in complex technical environments.
Key responsibilities include supporting and undertaking integrated logistics support activities as part of the system modernisation, conducting and overseeing logistics support analysis activities to optimise maintenance strategies and sparing requirements, leading a dedicated ILS team, and coordinating stakeholder relationships including military personnel and industry partners.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our organisation and shape the future of Australian military aviation infrastructure by managing the logistics aspects of a major capability assurance program that directly impacts national security.
Responsibilities:
- Logistics Support: Develop and execute comprehensive logistics strategies while personally undertaking key logistics activities for this air traffic management modernisation program.
- Analysis and Documentation: Conduct and oversee logistics support analysis activities to optimise maintenance strategies and sparing requirements.
- Team Leadership: Lead a dedicated ILS team while personally developing key training programs and technical documentation supporting the transition from legacy systems.
- Cordination: Coordinate stakeholder relationships including military personnel and industry partners.
Requirements:
- Degree: University Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, or equivalent experience
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant logistics engineering experience in complex technical environments
- Skills: Advanced knowledge of integrated logistics systems and maintenance requirement methodologies, proven ability to both lead teams and personally deliver technical ILS outputs.
