Job Summary:
Collaborate with a passionate team of educators in a supportive Christian environment to prepare individual education plans for students with disabilities and additional needs.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Teacher to join our secondary team. The successful candidate will have NESA teacher accreditation, experience working with students with disabilities, and a commitment to Christian education.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare individual education plans (IEPs) for students with disability and additional needs in consultation with teachers.
- Provide advice and support to teachers on matters related to specific disabilities.
- Monitor the accuracy of the NCCD reporting process and provide guidance to teachers as needed.
- Oversee the implementation of learning support programs for students with disability and additional needs.
Requirements:
- NESA Teacher Accreditation
- Experience working with students with disability and additional needs
- Comprehensive understanding of DDA, DSE, NCCD, and IEPs
- Commitment to Christian education
