**Position Information**:

**Selection Criteria**:
1. Approval to teach students with learning and support needs (secondary) and/or experience teaching students with learning and support needs (secondary) in regular classes. Capacity to provide specialist assistance to students in regular classes with additional learning and support needs and their teachers.

2. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with classroom teachers to differentiate curriculum and support assessment for learning, to provide for students with additional educational needs.

3 Implement, model, monitor and review effective individualised education programs that enrich learning experiences for students with additional needs to maximise outcomes.

4. Strength in interpersonal and communication skills, to build supportive relationships needed to work effectively and sensitively with students, as well as parents/carers, staff, and outside agencies in a caring, multi-disciplinary team, to meet the additional learning and wellbeing needs of students.
