Job Overview:

As a seasoned Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for nurturing a portfolio of Small Business clients with a focus on growth and retention. Your primary objective is to deliver on the bank's purpose of Building a brighter future for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify opportunities to assist clients in meeting their day-to-day financial needs and medium-term goals by gaining an in-depth understanding of their business and financial position.
  • Actively pursue the identification of opportunities to assist clients meet their day-to-day financial needs and medium-term goals by gaining an in-depth understanding of client needs and providing them with tailored solutions.
  • Engage with clients in the course of facility documentation and onboarding to ensure transaction delivery within the client's timeframe and financial needs.
  • Collaborate with specialists to deliver the most appropriate financial solutions that cater to the unique needs of each client.
  • Maintain a close relationship with Risk Management to promote an in-depth understanding of the client, industry, and transaction specifics to maximise efficiency in the lending and relationship management process.
  • Establish a network of local internal and external contacts to facilitate the origination of new business, new clients, and the gathering of competitive intelligence.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in managing a client portfolio with proven business originations outcomes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of banking products and financial services.
  • Experience in a sales or relationship management role in Business Banking or Corporate banking is desirable.
  • Numerical/analytical ability and accuracy.
  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business, or related field are desirable.
