
Client Portfolio Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team in a key role that involves on-boarding clients, account opening, day-to-day administration, and maintenance of client portfolios.
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and client skills, with the ability to connect with others and provide effective and timely management of settlement obligations.
This is a full-time position that requires a self-starter who is passionate about their work, loves a team environment, and is comfortable using technology for everything.
Key Responsibilities:
- On-board clients by researching routine problems and assisting with queries
- Prepare information for Investment Advisers prior to meetings, follow up post meeting, and update where necessary
- Provide effective and timely management of settlement obligations
- Liaise with Operations team to coordinate cash and stock transfers, corporate actions, and international trading execution
- Assist in servicing client accounts by identifying errors, listening to the needs of clients, and initiating corrections
Requirements:
- Strong ability to use technology, particularly spreadsheets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and logical thinking
- Ability to streamline processes and make improvements
- Understanding of investment/financial planning concepts, superannuation, and taxation regulation (advantageous)
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (advantageous)
