About the Role:

As a Portfolio Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of small business clients with a focus on growth and retention.

You will proactively identify opportunities to assist clients in meeting their day-to-day financial needs and medium-term goals by gaining an in-depth understanding of their business and financial position.

  • Engage and collaborate with specialists to deliver tailored financial solutions.
  • Maintain a close relationship with risk management, promoting an in-depth understanding of the client, industry, and transaction specifics.
  • Build a network of internal and external contacts to assist the origination of new business, new clients, and the gathering of competitive intelligence.

Your Skills and Experience:

We are looking for individuals with extensive experience in managing a client portfolio with proven business originations outcomes.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of bank products and financial services.
  • Experience in sales or relationship management roles in business banking or corporate banking is desirable.
  • Numerical / analytical ability and accuracy.
  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business, or related fields are desirable.
