Square is a global technology company dedicated to democratizing access to the economy. As a Sales Professional for E-commerce Growth, you will play a key role in driving business expansion by building relationships with prospective merchants via outbound business development and inbound leads.

Job Overview

This position requires a confident and skilled sales professional who knows their numbers, understands the full sales process, and is comfortable getting on the phone. You will be responsible for generating new opportunities through cold calling, growing revenue with new Premium merchants, and managing inbound leads to drive high conversion rates.

Main Responsibilities

  • Prospecting via cold calling to generate new business opportunities
  • Growing revenue with new Premium merchants through onboarding quality and merchant growth opportunities
  • Managing inbound leads to maximize conversion rates
  • Selling and onboarding SMBs and supporting OMNI channel expansion
  • FOLLOWING SALES AND ONBOARDING PROCESSES ACCURATELY TO MAXIMISE YEARLY SALES VOLUMES
  • Identifying relevant new business opportunities while highlighting Afterpay's value proposition
  • Developing an in-depth understanding of Afterpay, retail industry trends, and our competition
  • Tracking and reporting on all sales activities and results using Salesforce

Requirements

  • A strong track record of high-volume cold-calling and business development
  • Experience using tools such as Salesforce, SalesLoft or Aircall
  • A head full of ideas to manage your sales pipeline, interpret data to support merchant conversations, and meet sales metrics and targets
  • Prior experience in retail or payments is not necessary, but a passion for innovation and collaboration is essential
