Business Development Manager for Corrugated Packaging Solutions

About the Role
As a Business Development Manager for Corrugated Packaging Solutions, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and sustainability in the corrugated packaging industry.
You will be based in Brisbane and report to the Sales Manager Key Accounts, focusing on managing and expanding our presence in the corrugated packaging market.
This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with a high-value client base and exploring growth opportunities for Visy's cutting-edge solutions.
You will work closely with sales, customer service, and production teams to ensure top-quality service, product reliability, and customer satisfaction in Brisbane's dynamic market.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales targets by strengthening current client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
- Use in-depth knowledge of corrugated packaging to develop tailored solutions for key clients.
- Maintain clear communication with clients and Visy's internal teams to ensure client needs are met promptly.
- Work with production and scheduling teams to optimize stock levels and ensure delivery reliability.
- Leverage market insights to refine sales strategies and enhance our customer offerings.
- Comply with Visy's safety and environmental policies to maintain a secure and sustainable workplace.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Sales and Account Management within the packaging, manufacturing, or FMCG industry.
- Strong familiarity with corrugated packaging solutions and customer needs in the sector.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in email, Word, and Excel.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, with a personable and professional approach.
