Job Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to undertake various responsibilities across our business operations.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by providing timely assistance with sales enquiries and resolving customer issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure seamless support and foster a positive customer experience.
  • Enter sales data accurately and efficiently into our computer system, meeting deadlines for processing and compliance.
  • Process credits for incorrect pricing and returned goods at the point of sale, identifying the root cause of errors and implementing corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.
  • Participate in periodic stock checks to maintain inventory levels within company standards.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained and inform the purchasing department of required stock replenishments.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our hose management program (HMP) to effectively manage inventory and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Pick, pack, and dispatch goods promptly to meet customer expectations.
  • Receive, unpack, and store goods according to established procedures.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked showroom and warehouse environment.
  • Assemble hoses and fittings for new hydraulic and industrial hoses to meet quality standards.
About You – Key Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service skills, strong communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Previous experience in the industrial hose and hydraulics sector or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
  • High attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
  • Able to lift heavy items and perform manual tasks as required.
  • Proven teamwork and adaptability with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Proficient in computer applications and possession of a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
