Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic advice on assurance, risk, governance, and compliance matters to government agencies.
  • Conduct internal audits and risk assessments across our clients in the Commonwealth, ensuring the highest level of integrity and transparency.
  • Evaluate grant applications for Commonwealth funding, ensuring compliance and efficacy in accordance with government regulations.
  • Investigate instances of fraud or non-compliance, utilizing expertise in forensic investigation and analysis.

Requirements

  • Experienced professional in government advisory, with a focus on internal audit and risk management.
  • Keen to undertake further qualifications in internal audit (IIA), risk, or a CA qualification to enhance professional development.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication, including report writing in internal audit, with a strong emphasis on clarity and concision.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach, capable of handling sensitive matters with confidentiality and tact.
