Job Title

We are seeking a proactive and efficient Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Harbour Rocks Hotel.

Job Description

The successful applicant will be responsible for the maintenance of the hotel, including:

  • Undertaking general repairs and maintenance including preventative maintenance
  • Servicing of plant and general equipment as directed
  • Troubleshoot and perform repairs on all types of equipment, plumbing & electrical
  • Painting and gardening duties
  • Purchasing & administration
  • Coordinating and communicating with guests, customers and third-party contractors to resolve maintenance issues

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar role, a clear understanding of Workplace Health and Safety practices, and excellent communication skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

  • Have previous experience working in a similar role
  • Have a clear understanding of Workplace Health and Safety practices
  • Be prepared to assist other operational areas of the hotel if required
  • Have the ability to work unsupervised and work with other departments
  • Have the ability to work fast and efficiently, ensuring that the job is completed to the correct standard
  • Have good communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English
