Job Title: Vehicle Processing Supervisor

 

**About the Role**: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vehicle Processing Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing and supervising labour and facilities to ensure that processing operations run effectively and efficiently.

 

**Key Responsibilities**: The key responsibilities of this role include:

- Managing resources in line with processing forecasts;
- Setting and managing KPI's for the team to ensure Processing goals are met;
- Controlling the work of any sub-contractors working on site;
- Assessing the need for overtime to meet fluctuations in demand;
- Ensuring the timely processing of vehicles and liaising with clients and client liaison officers to assure this;
- Maintaining the training record and skill matrix to ensure that current training is adequate;
- Reviewing all measuring equipment calibration records and arranging for re-testing/calibration as required;
- Supervising the operation of the parts store to ensure adequate stock levels and quarantine of defective parts;
- Ensuring Prixcar's Quality System and total quality management is implemented and understood for all aspects of service, workmanship, procedures, work instructions and conformance to company standards;
- Promoting a continuously improving service culture within the branch and implementing quality principles;
- Performing or assisting with quality audits and implementing any corrective actions where necessary.

 

**Requirements**: To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

- Excellent organisational and planning skills;
- Reliable and dedicated person with drive and energy;
- Experience supervising, leading or managing a team is beneficial;
- Willingness to support your team mates where needed;
- Initiative and flexibility in your approach to work;
- High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship;
- Track record of responsibility when handling high profile assets;
- A 'manual' driver's license is essential;
- Prior experience in the auto industry an advantage;
- Mechanical/ electrical aptitude an advantage.
