Facilities Manager

The Vehicle Processing Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our processing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage resources effectively to meet processing forecasts and goals.
- Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for team members to ensure they are meeting processing targets.
- Supervise the work of any subcontractors on site, ensuring that all work is carried out to high standards.
- Assess the need for overtime and make decisions accordingly to meet fluctuations in demand.
- Ensure vehicles are processed efficiently and timely.
- Maintain accurate training records and skill matrices to ensure that current training is adequate.
- Review measuring equipment calibration records regularly.
- Oversee the operation of the parts store, ensuring adequate stock levels and quarantine of defective parts.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the branch, implementing quality principles and best practices.
- Perform or assist with quality audits and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Reliable and dedicated individual with drive and energy.
- Experience supervising, leading or managing a team is beneficial.
- Ability to support team members as needed.
- Initiative and flexibility in approach to work.
- High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Prior experience in the auto industry is an advantage.
- Mechanical/electrical aptitude is advantageous.
