Heavy Vehicle Operator Job Opportunity

This position involves operating heavy vehicles for multi-drop deliveries on designated routes. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers, adhering to all relevant road safety regulations and company policies.

The successful applicant will have a strong commitment to safety and compliance, ensuring that their actions align with these principles at all times.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently, taking into account the specific needs of each delivery route.
  • Ensure accurate delivery of steel products to customers, verifying that the correct quantities are received and processed accordingly.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to guarantee their safe operation and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues or concerns encountered during the process.

Requirements:

  • A valid Heavy Vehicle license with proven experience driving heavy vehicles, as well as a clean driving record.
  • Valid Driver's Medical, Fatigue Management, and full COVID vaccination certificates.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, enabling effective interaction with customers and colleagues alike.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, leveraging collaboration to achieve shared goals and objectives.
