The Opportunity

Onsite Vehicle Inspections is seeking the experience of a Light Vehicle Examiner, or a Light Vehicle Mechanic wanting to get off the tools You will be based in our workshop in Midvale, and the opportunity to do mobile inspections is available to the right candidate.

  • Examine vehicles for compliance with vehicle standards.
  • Assess vehicle modifications and issue modification approval certificates.
  • Prepare accurate written reports on the outcome of vehicle inspections.
  • Liaise with customers regarding the inspections being carried out.
  • Provide advisory service to customers on statutory and licensing requirements.
  • Manage your workload throughout the day.
  • Maintaining workshop order & cleanliness.
  • Full training provided

What we look for

  • C Class Drivers License – Essential
  • Current Trade Certificate – Essential
  • Australian Resident with permanent working rights – Essential
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic – Essential
  • Motor Vehicle Repairers certificate or be able to obtain one
  • National Police Clearance or be able to obtain one
  • Professional, capable, and positive attitude
  • Understanding and application of legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Basic computer skills
  • Willingness to learn and follow directions
  • Loyalty and accountability
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in dynamic environments
