The Opportunity Overview.
This is a senior leadership position overseeing the delivery of large-scale masterplanned developments. You will manage a high-performing team, drive profitability, and oversee multiple projects from initiation through completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of development managers to deliver residential projects with strong ESG sustainability, community, and financial outcomes.
- Oversee all project phases across the development cycle.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, finance, capital, and investment funds, to provide performance insights and align with financial goals.
- Secure planning and environmental approvals to enable project progression.
- Monitor market trends and adjust product offerings to maintain competitiveness.
- Build and manage relationships with government authorities, consultants, contractors, and community stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Embody Stockland's values by fostering an inclusive culture that supports collaboration, innovation, and respect across all teams and projects.
About You:
You are a trusted and high-performing development expert with significant experience in residential land development. You have a strong business focus and experience leading teams in high-compliance environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in residential land development, ideally across multiple or large-scale projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Expertise in planning and development approvals.
- Commercial acumen and customer-focused mindset.
- Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., property, urban planning, engineering).
