Catering Assistant

We have casual positions available at Clelland Lodge in North Nowra, offering:

  • A personalized and customer-focused approach to residents' dining experience
  • Maintenance of food safety practices in line with regulations

You will be reporting to the Manager of Residential Services and working closely with the care, health and hospitality team.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a varied and nutritional food service that meets the needs of aged residents
  • Offer excellent personalized service to our residents
  • Prepare meals and drinks
  • Distribute meals to residents and assist with meal preparation, cleaning and general kitchen duties
  • Promote dining room services and complete necessary documentation
About You
  • You bring experience in hospitality or care services, ideally within residential aged care, qualifications a plus
  • You're warm, approachable and communicate clearly with residents and team members
  • You're comfortable using IT systems and open to learning new tools
  • You work well in a team and always put residents at the centre of what you do
  • You're physically capable of handling a hands-on role and ready to pitch in where needed
  • You hold (or are willing to obtain) a current National Criminal History Check suitable for aged care
