Food Services Assistant Role

This is a part-time opportunity available in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care and support to residents, focusing on nutrition and dining.

The Key Responsibilities:

You will assist in the preparation, delivery, presentation, and serving of resident meals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality care and support aligned with residents' preferred daily routines
  • Considering meal choices and individual nutrition needs
  • Enhancing the overall dining experience
  • Assisting residents with meal selection and meal timing preferences
  • Preparing and setting up dining areas to meet individual needs and preferences
  • Actively engaging with residents to provide social and emotional support during mealtimes

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • A compassionate and caring attitude
  • Previous restaurant and/or commercial kitchen experience (highly regarded)
  • Ability to work well under pressure and take direction from others
  • Reliability and shift flexibility
  • Good time management skills
