Contaminated Land Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled environmental professional to join our team in Australia and work on medium contaminated-site projects.

  • Conduct site assessments with safety and geological considerations.
  • Collect and analyze environmental samples and data.
  • Draft comprehensive technical reports and recommendations.
  • Oversee contractors and ensure safe, compliant project execution.
  • Apply relevant legislation and project specifications.
About the Job

This role involves managing complex contaminated-site projects and requires expertise in soil contaminants, site sampling techniques, and remediation technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage contaminated-site projects from conception to completion.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for site remediation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with QLD regulations pertaining to contaminated sites.
Requirements

Candidates should have a minimum of 7–12 years of experience and tertiary education in earth sciences, agriculture, or environmental science/engineering. Defence clearance is also a requirement as an Australian Citizen or permanent resident.
