We are seeking a talented HR Generalist to join our team part-time, covering a parental leave placement for up to 12 months. As a valued member of our team, you will report directly to the People & Culture Business Partner and provide generalist human resources advice and support in line with corporate strategy and core values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive human resources support and guidance, ensuring compliance with policies, practices, and relevant legislation
  • Manage recruitment processes, including advertising, preparing position descriptions, coordinating pre-employment screening, and facilitating induction processes
  • Evaluate and implement effective onboarding and probation review processes using software systems
  • Collaborate with managers and team leaders on employee relations matters, aligning with corporate policy and statutory requirements
  • Ensure adherence to employment provisions of relevant awards and legislation
  • Contribute to health and wellbeing initiatives, employee surveys, and performance review processes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field
  • Experience as a HR Generalist, demonstrating knowledge of contemporary HR issues, methodologies, and best practices
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and manage time effectively
