People and Culture Partnership Specialist

The role of a People and Culture Business Partner is to foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to facilitate effective People and Culture practices. This entails providing an end-to-end people and culture service as part of a collaborative team. A dedicated team player with project management skills, strategic approach to challenges, ability to build strong relationships and deliver People and Culture functions for a statutory organisation is required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with business to provide expert advice across the full suite of human resources functions
  • Providing guidance through provision of consultancy-based services
  • Maintaining comprehensive records of work activities in accordance with legislative requirements, including organisational records, information security and privacy policies and regulations
  • Managing cross-functional delivery of departmental policies and services impacted by sensitive and complex issues

This position necessitates specialist expertise in people and culture functions, including coordination of recruitment and retention activities aligned with the department's People and Culture Strategy. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Social Work, social sciences, humanities or related field.
