Investment Governance Specialist

The successful candidate will provide regular monitoring and compliance oversight for a leading investment management firm. They will be responsible for proactively tracking adherence to procedures and control checks on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Monitor and report on compliance metrics and trends.
- Track and escalate exceptions to senior stakeholders.
- Take ownership of the quarterly third-party fund manager due diligence questionnaire process.
- Assist with investigations and ensure timely resolution and improvement to the control environment.
- Support regulatory filings and review OTC derivatives reporting.
- Monitor shareholder reporting requirements, including FIRB exclusions and investment mandate exclusion monitoring.
- Suggest improvements to manual processes and streamline workflows for efficiency.
- 3+ years of investment compliance experience from a fund or investment management background.
- A strong understanding of fund or investment management processes, including market movements and asset manager processes.
- Proficient Excel skills are essential.
- Tertiary qualification and/or industry-specific certification.
- Experience with Big 4 or mid-tier professional services firms is preferred but not required.
- Strong organisational, research, and administrative skills are mandatory.
