Drafting Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated Drafting Coordinator to join our project management team based in Perth.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and checking drafting activities (internal and external drafters) for detailed drafting activities supporting fabrication projects.
Our work includes fabrication workshops, coordination and delivery of fabrication, welding, projects to a range of blue-chip resources clients (mining and gas clients).
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and check drafting activities for detailed drafting activities supporting fabrication projects.
- Work closely with internal and external drafters to ensure accurate and timely delivery of drafting activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure drafting activities align with project objectives and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry standards and regulations.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role coordinating drafting activities for fabrication projects.
- Strong networks and understanding of detailed drafting for fabrication works.
- A relevant trade qualification would be a definite advantage.
- Detailed drafting knowledge across structural, mechanical, piping, packaged equipment, pressure vessels, structural plate work, and fabrication of modular packages.
- Strong understanding and skill level using TEKLA and Autocad.
- Outstanding technical and communication skills, proven experience dealing with overseas drafting houses would be a definite advantage.
